Jujitsu, also known as jiu-jitsu and ju-jitsu, is a martial art that originates from Japan. It is a close quarters combat style that focuses on using an opponent's own momentum and weight against them, rather than relying on punches and kicks. Jujitsu can be traced back to the samurai of medieval Japan, and was used as a way for the smaller, weaker fighter to defeat a larger, stronger opponent.

In jujitsu, there is no one-size-fits-all approach – each situation is unique, and so each move must be considered carefully in the moment. This makes jujitsu an interesting and challenging martial art to learn.

Jujitsu is not widely practiced in Hong Kong, but there are a few clubs and lessons available. The health benefits of jujitsu include improved fitness and flexibility, as well as increased mental focus and concentration. The social benefits of learning jujitsu include meeting new people and gaining confidence.
